Six outstanding speakers to look forward to at #mtpcon San Francisco

Have you saved the date? June 14!

With #mtpcon San Francisco only a couple of weeks away, we’re delighted to unveil more details of some of the outstanding speakers who will share their insights with us at the conference.

Whether you're coming to the conference to understand more about product leadership, AI, the latest thinking on experience metrics, psychological safety or anything else, this year’s exceptional lineup of keynote talks will have something for you.

Here’s some more detail on some of our amazing speakers:

Merci Grace

Keynote speaker Merci Grace is founder of the Women in Product community. She’s also a repeat founder and investor. Merci co-founded a venture-backed game studio before working as a game designer and product manager at various startups. More recently she was Head of Growth at Slack, leading the company from 500,000 daily active users to over 6 million in under three years. She has stories we can’t wait to hear!

Aniket Deosthali

Chief Product Officer Aniket Deosthali will give a keynote session on Winning the AI products arms race. He'll look at the latest on AI for product people, the potential pitfalls and challenges, and where the lucrative opportunities lie. Aniket led the creation and launch of Walmart's premiere AI-powered shopping assistant, so he’ll have a lot to share about his recent experiences. He’s also an active investor and advisor to tech companies building next-gen customer experiences and was previously a product leader at Bonobos and Blink Health.

Diana Stepner

With hybrid and remote working normalised since the pandemic, it’s fitting that Diana Stepner’s keynote looks at The importance of psychological safety for remote teams. Diana is Head of Product at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and is a Silicon Valley native with over 15 years of international product leadership experience running diverse global digital teams. She’ll look at why creativity, experimentation, learning, and flexibility can feel risky to employees – especially remote workers, and therefore why leaders must rely on psychological safety to harness the full power of their teams.

Tomer Sharon

A keynote from Tomer Sharon, Co-founder  and CXO at anywell, will look at Measuring the user experience. Tomer’s talk will offer definitions around experience measurement, touch on traps many practitioners tend to fall into, and give examples of useful experience metrics. He promises you’ll learn about a framework for deciding what to measure and take away steps toward establishing an experience measurement system that goes hand in hand with a modern product management practice. Find out more about Tomer and his talk here.

Yi-Wei Ang

Creating a courageous culture in product teams is the subject of the keynote from Yi-Wei Ang, CPO at Delivery Hero/Talabat. Yi-Wei says that the best products come from teams that make courageous bets. He’ll take a deep dive into the importance of courage and vulnerability to be an effective product leader. Yi-Wei will also share how teams can build this courageous culture from the ground up, from what it takes as an individual product person, to bringing it into the wider organisation. We interviewed Yi-Wei to find out more about his keynote session.

Janice Fraser

Janice Fraser, a Silicon Valley veteran and author of a new book, Farther, Faster, and Far Less Drama will also speak at the conference. Janice is well-known as a thoughtful and inspiring speaker and she’s committed to championing entrepreneurs who are typically under-represented in the world of venture-backed startups. Her talk is not to be missed!
