This is not a typical delivery role. You’ll work closely with assurance teams, technical colleagues, leadership and a fractional commercial/product strategy lead to determine where AI can meaningfully improve workflows — and whether those use cases can form the basis of a repeatable external proposition.What You’ll DoProduct Discovery &amp; Validation<ul><li>Run structured discovery with assurance teams to map workflows, pain points and decision points.</li><li>Identify and prioritise 3–5 high‑value internal use cases for AI.</li><li>Define problem statements, hypotheses, acceptance criteria and success measures.</li><li>Validate whether the AI solves real operational problems — not just drives tool usage.</li><li>Maintain a clear discovery log capturing evidence, feedback and decisions.</li></ul>Internal Deployment &amp; Adoption<ul><li>Support controlled internal deployments of priority use cases.</li><li>Translate operational insight into user stories, workflow requirements and product improvements.</li><li>Document measurable value (time, quality, consistency, risk, speed, profitability, client insight).</li><li>Help define “good enough” for operational use, including technical and data readiness.</li></ul>Roadmap &amp; Product Stewardship<ul><li>Own the prioritised backlog for the validation phase.</li><li>Build an evidence‑based roadmap grounded in user value, feasibility and commercial potential.</li><li>Work closely with technical teams to clarify requirements and manage trade‑offs.</li><li>Produce clear artefacts: user stories, workflow maps, prioritisation matrices, value hypotheses.</li></ul>Commercial &amp; Market Validation<ul><li>Support external discovery conversations (5–10).</li><li>Shape early personas, value propositions and market‑facing use case narratives.</li><li>Provide product input into early pricing, packaging and go‑to‑market thinking.</li><li>Assess whether the proposition is repeatable, scalable and commercially meaningful.</li></ul>Stakeholder Leadership<ul><li>Work closely with TIAA leadership, assurance teams and technical resources.</li><li>Provide clear updates for fortnightly working sessions and monthly steering sessions.</li><li>Support decision gates at months 2, 4 and 6 with evidence on value, readiness and viability.</li></ul>What Success Looks LikeSuccess is measured by clarity, not backlog size or superficial adoption.
