At the heart of this is our digital platform, currently powered by Hivebrite and heavily customised to suit our unique community. As we evolve and expand our digital experience, we are actively exploring how we continue to enhance our member experience. Starting from our Hivebrite foundation, with a clear direction of travel towards building something new and custom built which integrates seamlessly into our internal CRM. We are looking for a passionate, creative and hands-on Product Builder to help drive the next phase of our product journey.
The role
We are shifting from using generic, off-the-shelf platforms to building our own custom, AI-native ecosystem. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on tech builder to be the engineering engine behind this transition.
We aren't looking for someone to spend months writing boilerplate code. Instead, we want a creative problem-solver who uses modern AI-assisted tools and low-code platforms. You might prefer tools like Claude, Lovable, or Supabase, or perhaps you have your own highly efficient stack in mind. Whatever you use, the goal is to build something truly magical for our members and internal team.
Most importantly, you need to be a fantastic listener. You will work closely with our team to translate their ideas, frustrations, and goals into a seamless, engaging digital experience that our community actually wants to use every day.
Key elements of the role
Build the Magic: Design and develop a mobile-first Member Platform and evolve our CRM into a single, purpose-built tool that our team and members love using.
Listen & Collaborate: Work closely with team leads across Partner, Programme, and Marketing to understand their pain points and iterate quickly based on their feedback.
Choose Your Stack: Leverage modern AI UI builders, intelligent APIs, and robust backends to build quickly and cost-effectively. We have suggested tools like Lovable and Claude, but you will have the freedom to recommend the best tools for the job.
Own the Evolution: Lead the technical transition from our legacy systems, managing a smooth rollout as we progressively build our custom platform
Champion Security & Compliance: Ensure our platform is European by design. You will ensure GDPR compliance from day one, being supported by a team, handling EU and UK data hosting, and making certain that any processing respects strict data privacy agreements.

Empathetic Communicator: You are a natural communicator who can translate non-technical feedback into clear product features. You listen first and build second.
A Taste for Great UX: You care about creating beautiful, intuitive user journeys that make complex workflows feel simple.
