Simonetta Batteiger is a product leadership expert and seasoned team builder with more than a decade of experience guiding product and business teams in highly technical environments. She is passionate about coaching product leaders to cultivate high-performing teams and to build commercially successful products that customers genuinely value. Most recently, she led the global expansion of the world’s most widely used browser extension at eyeo (Adblock Plus). In this role, she scaled distribution through strategic partnerships with major browser vendors and built a diverse, multinational business unit from the ground up. Her leadership doubled both users and revenue while maintaining a consistent focus on team health and cultural resilience. The products her teams delivered are used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Before joining eyeo, she oversaw the teams behind Sedo.com, where she helped build and scale the leading marketplace for domain names; and and Vistra, a solution for CFOs and their Finance teams to run global payroll, financials and compliance through one audit ready tool. Driven by the conviction that inclusive team cultures are a strategic accelerator for performance and innovation, Simonetta founded Inclusive Leaders to help organizations build environments where people thrive. In 2025, her work has centered on how trust-driven product experiences (particularly in the era of AI) create sustainable commercial advantage. Simonetta is based in Cologne and regularly spends time in New York and Boston. She loves travel, cooking, art, and Argentine Tango, and she treats every new experience as an opportunity for insight and growth.
