The Black Mirror Test – Roisi Proven on The Product Experience [Rebroadcast]

Roisi Proven

A couple of things we’re hearing people talk about a lot this week are how they’re adjusting to working in a different way, and how they are adjusting their strategies to deal with the current situation. These are situations that are fraught with the possibility for unintended consequences – something Roisi Proven covered in her great episode (and talk) about the Black Mirror Test. We’re running this episode again to remind everyone to take a moment, engage your team, and think through both how the decisions you make now can help and how they can be misused – and then take action to mitigate the latter.

Quote of the Episode

The point is to get as evil as possible, and not hold back, and not think about the feelings of others, it’s just about being really harsh about what your product could be used for, and then putting it into a little dystopian future that you create.
