Product Manager
Collective
THE OPPORTUNITY
You’re joining at the ground floor of a category-defining moment. 1 in 8 American adults have now taken peptides, and it’s going mainstream fast.
Collective is building the membership that makes the biggest medicine story of our generation actually affordable. GLP-1s, peptides, and longevity therapies are changing what’s possible for a person's metabolic health, but the current system prices out most of the people who need it most. Collective compounds direct: doctor prescribed, medical grade peptides, delivered through a real clinical program, at a fraction of what clinics and pharmacies charge today.
Run by a team of operators and advisors that helped build three D2C unicorns: Thrive Market, LMNT and Function Health.
THE ROLE
Collective is building the foundation for a new kind of healthcare experience. We're launching our pilot product today, with an ambitious roadmap spanning longevity and healthy aging, recovery and repair, holistic weight management, sleep, and more.
As a Product Manager, you'll shape the end-to-end member experience - from a person's very first interaction with Collective through years of ongoing care. You'll define product strategy, identify the highest-leverage opportunities, and lead cross-functional teams to bring them to life.
The opportunity spans every stage of the member journey: helping people discover the right therapies, creating intuitive clinical experiences, enabling meaningful relationships with care teams, increasing long-term engagement, and expanding the platform as new wellness protocols launch.
This is a true zero-to-one product role. You'll have the opportunity to define what Collective's product becomes and build experiences that make cutting-edge medicine feel approachable, trustworthy, and effortless.
This role will work closely with the CEO, COO, CMO, Engineering and Design.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
● AI-native. AI is your default way of working, not an occasional tool. You instinctively use it to accelerate research, synthesize insights, prototype ideas, write specifications, analyze data, and automate repetitive work. You're constantly experimenting with new tools and tech that increase your leverage.
● Exceptional product judgment. You combine strategic thinking with relentless execution. You bring clarity to ambiguity, move quickly, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and know when to go deep versus keep things simple.
● Strong product craft. You've owned consumer products end-to-end and have a track record of building thoughtful, intuitive experiences - ideally in D2C, subscriptions, or another high-frequency member relationship.
● Customer obsessed. You're fluent in user research, product strategy, UX, product definition, experimentation, and funnel optimization. You deeply understand users and translate insights into products people love.
● Analytical. You're comfortable with cohort analysis, funnel metrics, LTV, experimentation, and product analytics. You use data to sharpen strategy and make better decisions, not just measure outcomes.
● High agency. You act like an owner. You're direct, async-friendly, and highly autonomous. You identify problems before they're assigned, create momentum when work stalls, make decisions with incomplete information, and don't wait for someone else to unblock you.
● Intellectually rigorous. You're opinionated but evidence-driven. You develop strong hypotheses, defend them with clear reasoning, and change your mind quickly when the facts change.
● Exceptional communicator. You communicate with clarity and structure, making complex product strategy understandable across executives, engineering, design, operations, and growth.
● Mission aligned. You're excited by peptides, longevity, and consumer health - or eager to become an expert - and understand that building healthcare products requires balancing speed with clinical quality, trust, and compliance.
Nice to have: Experience building products in regulated or high-compliance industries, familiarity with subscription businesses, and experience partnering closely with clinical and legal stakeholders without sacrificing velocity.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
● Own the end-to-end member experience. Partner with leadership to define, evolve, and execute the product strategy across the entire member journey.
● Set product roadmap. Build and maintain a clear, prioritized product roadmap that balances member needs, business goals, technical investment, and long-term platform strategy. Turn a messy backlog of ideas, requests, and edge cases into a coherent plan with clear tradeoffs.
● Own business outcomes. Define measurable goals tied to key metrics - including conversion, activation, retention, engagement, and LTV - and drive the product strategy to achieve them.
● Build product experiences that earn trust. Partner closely with Product Design and Engineering to define, build, launch, and iterate on intuitive, high-quality member experiences.
● Help shape the clinical platform. Partner with clinical and legal stakeholders to bring new therapies and wellness protocols to market, balancing member experience with safety, compliance, and operational feasibility.
● Drive learning through experimentation. Design and run rapid experiments that test meaningful hypotheses about member behavior, using evidence to inform product decisions rather than shipping for its own sake.
● Support optimization of the member lifecycle. Support work across acquisition, onboarding, cross-selling to create a seamless member experience and increase long-term retention.
Take the next step in your career journey.
