Martin Eriksson has 25+ years experience building world-class online products in both corporate and start-up environments for global brands such as Monster, Financial Times, Huddle, and Covestor. He is the Founder of ProductTank, the Co-Founder and Curator of Mind the Product, and a Product Partner at leading venture capital fund EQT Ventures. He is also the author of the best-seller Product Leadership, How Top Product Leaders Launch Great Products and Build Successful Teams (O'Reilly, 2017).

Mind the Product started with a simple premise &#8211; that by coming together as a community we can all learn from each other, become better product managers, and improve our craft. We started with just 25 people in the back room of a London pub, but have quickly grown that product community to over 155 cities around the world.
In 2012 we wanted to connect all those communities and share even bigger lessons, so we started a conference in London. In 2015 we took that conference to San Francisco, and in 2019 <a href="https://www.mindtheproduct.com/mtpcon/singapore/">we&#8217;re bringing it to Singapore</a>.
Over the last several years we&#8217;ve launched dozens of ProductTank meetups featuring thousands of members across Australia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, New Zealand, and Vietnam. So we&#8217;re thrilled to finally be able to bring together that vibrant product community from all over the region to continue our mission of improving the craft of product management through sharing with each other.

Singapore is an historic crossroads and today continues to bridge east and west, north and south, by connecting all of those countries and by sitting at the epicentre of a regional powerhouse market in it&#8217;s own right. Southeast Asia alone has a population of over 650 million, and it&#8217;s a young and tech-savvy population. Over 50% of the population is under the age of 30, and 90% of this subset has internet access &#8211; that&#8217;s a market to rival Europe or the US! And it&#8217;s not just about consuming technology, it&#8217;s about building great technology too. Singapore recently took the #3 spot in Bloomberg&#8217;s Global Innovation Index and regional startup heroes like Grab, Lazada, and Shoppee have shown that they have the chops to build global product companies, and give Silicon Valley&#8217;s finest a bloody nose along the way. And that&#8217;s why we will feature not just the our usual stellar speaker line-up, but augment it with plenty of local voices too.
