About the session

Are you using Scrum or something similar? Are your teams working as a feature factory? Nice, but how do you know these features are the most valuable ones for your customers?

We will share our approach: the Value Engine, an agile portfolio management framework that focuses not only on delivery but also on discovery. It enables an experimentation culture and gives teams a vast amount of freedom for self-organisation. It connects tools like OKRs and Scrum, basically filling the organisational gap between strategy and delivery.

We will be using a Miro board to participate in real time, so it would be best to join from a computer. The Miro board link will be shared at the very beginning of the talk.

Our Speakers

Sandra’s background is in consulting & agile coaching. She found her passion for product management around a decade ago in the Agile Transition Team at Deutsche Telekom. Her strengths are connecting people and managing teams. In the past 7 years she was a product leader at zooplus, majorly influencing and contributing to the success of Europe's leading online retailer of pet supplies.

Rainer has an impressive track record as CPO and Product Leader for companies like zooplus, real, Westwing, Otto and Breuninger. He was often hired for projects like “Internationalise our shop or replace it with a new one”. However the actual task instead was: Build a modern product management team, help the company to learn how to experiment faster and find out what makes a difference in customer behaviour.

Tine’s background is in software development & agile coaching. Not long into his career he found his passion for people leadership. At Travian Games he was entrusted to lead his first team and has been evolving his skills and knowledge in that field ever since. In the last few years he took on several different roles at zooplus, ranging from engineering manager and agile coach to executive consultant, with a strong focus on people and company culture.
