Your ticket will be refunded in full to the original method of payment on Eventbrite. Refunds can take up to 10 days to process. You do not need to take any action. We are working with Eventbrite to make this happen as quickly as possible. If you have paid by invoice – we will be reaching out in the next few days to request transfer details and issue a credit note.

The Corona/COVID19 virus situation in Singapore went from bad to worse this week. On February 7, The Singapore Ministry of Health raised their “Disease Outbreak Response System Condition” from Yellow to Orange which means they’re currently advising organisers to cancel or defer non-essential large-scale events. Other sources suggest it is likely that Singapore will go to Red at some point soon which would mean that the government would ban all group gatherings completely. While the situation currently seems stable, and no one on the team has any worries about travelling to Singapore, the simple truth is that no one knows for sure, right now, how this situation will play out in the coming weeks. We would therefore rather be safe than sorry, and gathering 500+ people from 26 countries around the region in the middle of a global health emergency (as declared by the World Health Organisation) does not seem prudent for the safety of attendees or staff.

Mind the Product will definitely be back in 2021, barring any further global emergencies of course! We are already working closely with all our venues and suppliers to prepare for a March 2021 conference and will be confirming and publishing those dates soon. You can expect the same amazing conference experience as was planned for 2020, with a day full of deep-dive workshops followed by a day of inspiring talks from international product leaders.

Unfortunately, we are not able to cover travel expenses for attendees as per our Terms and Conditions.

We would, therefore, ask that you please cancel your hotel and air bookings if they are fully refundable. If you have trouble refunding your flight and hotel without fees, please feel free to use this letter, we hope it might be helpful. If your flights not refundable, many airlines will allow you to change the date for a fee. You could try to change them to the 2021 conference – we’ll confirm those dates soon.

The product community in APAC is still going strong and is full of passionate product people eager to help move our craft forward. We remain committed to the community and being part of that incredibly exciting journey: Our local ProductTank meetups are in 39 cities around the APAC region – and they’re still hosting their events.

Our annual World Product Day is coming up on May 27, celebrating our 10th anniversary and connecting all 195+ ProductTanks around the world to celebrate our craft.

We will be back in Singapore in the coming months with some of our public workshops and, if you’re interested in bringing them to your city, make sure you register your interest here. We can also provide in-house training at your company, reducing the travel risk.
