Julie Zhuo VP of Product Design, Facebook Julie Zhuo is one of Silicon Valley’s top product design executives and leads the teams behind some of the world’s most popular mobile and web services used by billions of people every day. She is the author of “The Making of a Manager,” a field guide to management. She writes about technology, design, and leadership on her popular blog The Year of the Looking Glass and in publications like the New York Times and Fast Company. She graduated with a computer science degree from Stanford University and lives with her husband and two children in California. Joff Redfern VP Product, Atlassian Joff Redfern is the VP Product at Atlassian, which he joined in 2017. Prior to Atlassian, he he spent 7 years as VP of Product at LinkedIn where he led LinkedIn’s flagship products through a transition from desktop to mobile. He has also served as VP of Product at Yahoo, Harris myCFO, and Fidelity Investments. e’s been building product long enough to remember the world before JIRA and has also worked with startups as co-founder of Flattenme.com and an advisor to SimpleBank. Matt LeMay Author & Co-Founder, Sudden Compass Matt LeMay is the author of Agile for Everybody (O’Reilly Media, 2018) and Product Management in Practice (O’Reilly Media, 2017). He has helped build and scale product management practices at companies ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 50 enterprises. Matt was selected as a Top 50 Product Management influencer by the PM Year in Review for both 2016 and 2015. He is a co-founder and partner at Sudden Compass, a consultancy that has helped organizations like Spotify, Clorox, and Procter & Gamble put customer centricity into practice. In his work as a technology communicator, Matt has developed and led digital transformation and data strategy workshops for companies like GE, American Express, Pfizer, McCann, and Johnson & Johnson. Previously, Matt worked as Senior Product Manager at music startup Songza (acquired by Google), and Head of Consumer Product at Bitly. Braden Kowitz Co-Founder at Range Braden is a Product Designer and Co-Founder at Range Labs, where he makes software that helps teams work better together. Prior to starting Range, Braden was a design partner at Google Ventures, where he founded the first design team at a venture capital fund and co-developed the Design Sprint process. Braden was also an early designer at Google and led the design of several new products including GSuite, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Trends. She also works with researchers in the field of social connection to better understand the opportunities to make technology that helps people have real relationships. In her spare time, she geeks out over neuroscience, creativity, and culture and has organized several meetups, including ProductTank PDX, Neurogeeks, and CopyNight NYC. Laure started her career in the film business and has always had an interest in technology. She has been a speaker at SXSW, Grace Hopper Celebration, ProductTank, Product Stack, Lean Startup Unconference, PyGotham, Independent Film Week, HotDocs, and Innovate/Activate, among others, and mentors through NYUXPA and Women in Tech. During her time at ThoughtWorks, Natalie has participated as a Women’s Network Board member, Environmental Justice Campaign regional lead, Climate Coalition member, and as part of a small team to spearhead Clean Technology client exploration. Natalie also co-organizes Products with Purpose, a meetup for social entrepreneurs, product managers, designers and technologists to integrate social and environmental impact tools and strategies into their day jobs.
