Product EQ focuses on the emotional intelligence / emotional quotient competencies that were introduced by Daniel Goleman and remain essential to the product management craft such as influencing, teamwork & collaboration, leadership, organizational awareness, and empathy. All of these Product EQ skills are just as crucial to product success as roadmap building, A/B testing and OKRs, however they’re often not given the emphasis that they deserve.

The Product EQ category is curated by Kate Leto, who has more than 20 years product management, leadership and marketing experience with the likes of Yahoo! (Sunnyvale and London) and MOO.COM (London). Since 2011 she’s been a strategic product consultant, leading organisational design and transformation initiatives across finance, government, travel, e-commerce, and non-for-profit sectors.
