Jared Spool, Nathalie Nahai and Shiva Rajaraman to speak at #mtpcon London

Mind the Product conferences aren’t all about the amazing networking and partying, we put on some great content too with the leading product thinkers and practitioners in the world. So I’m thrilled to announce the first three amazing speakers for #mtpcon London 2015:

Jared SpoolJared Spool

Jared Spool is the founder of User Interface Engineering and a co-founder of Center Centre. He’s probably the most effective and knowledgeable communicator on the subject today. He’s been working in the field of usability and experience design since 1978, before the term “usability” was ever associated with computers.

Jared spends his time working with the research teams at the User Interface Engineering, helps clients understand how to solve their design problems, explains to reporters and industry analysts what the current state of design is all about, and is a top-rated speaker at more than 20 conferences every year.

With Dr. Leslie Jensen-Inman, he is starting a new school in Chattanooga, TN to create the next generation of industry-ready UX Designers. Earlier this year, the school, under the nickname of the Unicorn Institute, launched a Kickstarter project that successfully raised more that 600% of its initial goal.

Nathalie NahaiNathalie Nahai

Nathalie Nahai is a Web Psychologist and best-selling author of Webs of Influence: The Psychology of Online Persuasion.

Having coined the term “web psychology” in 2011 as “the empirical study of how our online environments influence our attitudes and behaviours”, Nathalie gives talks and masterclasses on the subject around the world for clients including eBay, Pfizer, Moz, Lund University, Harvard Business Review, Unilever and Google.

As well as appearing on national TV and radio, Nathalie has written for national publications and is a resident columnist at Marketing Week. She is currently writing her second book.

Shiva RajaramanShiva Rajaraman

Shiva recently moved to Stockholm as VP Product for Spotify. He’s spent the previous 8 years at Google running various parts of YouTube, including leading the consumer team and launching the first YouTube ad formats and partner monetization programs, as well as being the product lead for just about every other area. He also spent a short stint introducing the first commerce offerings at Twitter.

He started his career as a molecular biologist, including doing research at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications on computational biology, so brings a very interesting perspective to product management and development!
