Key Product Dates for Your Diary in 2018

In a recent blog post Mind the Product’s director of training, Rosemary King, said that getting an edge as a product manager means “collecting as many valuable experiences as you can from as many places as possible,” and we’ve got plenty in the pipeline next year to help you do just that.

Our 2018 is shaping up to be a busy year with product conferences, local peer-to-peer meetups, training workshops and much more. So, add these dates to your plans (and budgets!) for 2018 to get that edge and really level up your product skills.

Conferences

#mtpEngage Hamburg, April 19-20

We kick off our 2018 conference schedule with our regional MTP Engage mini-conference in Hamburg on April 20 (tickets on sale now!). It’s our second time running this event but it’s already looking to be even better than the first – and don’t forget the optional workshops on April 19 to really deep-dive your learning.

#mtpcon San Francisco, July 16-17

Mind the Product San Francisco returns to the stunning Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall in the heart of the Civic Center on Tuesday, July 17 with the optional workshops on Monday, July 16. Tickets for the conference and workshops go on sale on Thursday, January 11, so why not treat yourself to a late Christmas present!

 #mtpcon London, October 18-19

Mind the Product London returns to the iconic Barbican Hall in the heart of the City of London on Friday, 19 October with optional workshops on Thursday, 18 October. Early bird tickets go on sale on Thursday, 15 February with general release and workshop tickets following on Thursday, 15 March. Definitely one for the diary.

ProductCamp

ProductCamp London is known as the “unconference” for product management. The sessions for the day are driven by the attendees and everyone contributes in one way or another. And… it’s usually completely free!

ProductCamp London, February 24

The day before ProductCamp London, on Friday February 23, we’ll be running six awesome product management workshops all run by outstanding trainers with excellent product experience. Standalone tickets for the event have all sold out but if you are purchasing a Mind the Product workshop ticket for Friday February 23, then you can still sign up for a free ProductCamp place the next day. Check out the workshops and get your free ProductCamp ticket here.

ProductTank

ProductTank is an informal meetup that brings together the local product community in over 138 cities across the globe – whether they’re product managers, designers, or developers – to share their experience and knowledge. ProductTanks are always free to attend, organised by volunteers from the local product community and are a great way to learn and interact with like-minded people who share the same challenges as you.

Find your local ProductTank at www.producttank.com and sign up for the next meetup.

World ProductTank Day, May 23

Next May marks the eighth anniversary of the first ever ProductTank meetup. To celebrate the occasion we’re making May 23 World ProductTank Day by holding as many meetups as possible around the world in the same day! Make sure you join the fun with your local ProductTank.

Training Workshops

Like all good product managers we’re always hungry to learn new skills, hone our craft, and improve our abilities in any way we can. Why not sign up for a day of learning at one of our product management training workshops? They’re run for product managers, by product managers and are popping up in cities all over the world, starting in January 2018.

So far we have workshops planned in London, Dublin, Texas, Amsterdam, San Francisco and Hamburg – get more details and book tickets here.

We’ll be adding more dates in different locations very soon so make sure you keep up-to-date with announcements via our new training newsletter.

Company Training

If you’d rather have Mind the Product come to you and train your whole team then our in-house company training may suit your needs better.

Our curriculum is focused on product problem solving, bringing together in-depth views of the technical processes and soft skills that product managers need in order to ship great products.

We’ll pick a time that suits you so we can work it into your calendar any time of the year. Find out more about Company Training.

Keep up to Date

As you can see it’s looking to be a very productive year so make sure you don’t miss out by following us on Twitter or signing up to our newsletter for great content and new dates as there is definitely more to come!
